I don't really understand why some people are having such trouble installing this. I found the installation process to be quite easy and straight forward. It took me less than 5 minutes to disassemble and install the strap that came with the Quest. When I put my Oculus on for the first time after installing the new strap, it was immediately apparent how much more comfortable it was than the standard version. Attaching the battery to the back of the strap was also an easy task, it fits fairly snugly, balancing the Oculus' weight more on the back and making it easier to wear for extended periods of time. I was lucky enough to get it on sale for $20.99. and i am very happy with the purchase. It's easily worth $30 in my opinion considering how much better your VR experience is with it. The only real issue I've noticed is the noise it makes when you turn the knob backwards, which I could do without, for example. This isn't a deal breaker, however, as you only really need to turn this knob if you're matching it to someone new. It doesn't need to be adjusted every time you put it on. There are also more compact designs which I've found to fit into smaller tote bags more easily, but I've never had the other type so I can't confirm the level of comfort I have with it. However, I can say that this one is definitely comfortable for me. And the last thing to consider is the size of the wearer's ears. I think some people have issues with this design rubbing at the top of the ears, that's not a problem for me.
