This ad contains no description or instructions for the product. So I will do my best to include that information in this review. Please see my attached images to see what the product will look like when you receive it. They are bike specific, not universal. They will fit any 2nd generation SV650, so they will fit any 2003-2008 SV650 or SV650n without modification. Full fairing bikes require holes to be cut in the fairing on each side. The tapered gasket is actually black anodized, not the pure silver finish shown in the Revain ad. The screws included in the kit have a diameter of 10 mm and a property class of 12.9. First Opinion: They look very solid. They appear to be well designed and very well made. They are perfect for our 2005 SV650. Fingers crossed we never have to put them to the test, but if we do I'll be sure to report back on how well they've held up and how well they protect the bike. Installation: If you look to the side of the bike you will see three bolts on the frame that they fit into. The studs are oriented to look like a "V" shape. Use the foremost screw on each side. A shorter washer with conical spacer goes on the left side. Like a short bolt. And a longer washer and bolt for the right side. Apply a small amount of blue Loctite (#242 or #243) to the screw threads. I don't know the torque of these bolts so I just tightened them very tight. That's all.
