Description of πŸ›΅ Shogun Suzuki SV650 SV 650 03-08 NO CUT Black PA2 Frame Sliders + SV650S Black PA2 CUT Frame Sliders - 715-5609 - MADE IN USA

***SV650 NO BODY MODIFICATIONS REQUIRED*** ***SV650S BODY MODIFICATIONS REQUIRED***. All Shogun Motorsports standard kits have SPARE PARTS AVAILABLE along with a 1 YEAR FREE puck replacement WARRANTY for White, Black and PA2 kits. All frame slider kits come with left and right frame sliders and all necessary mounting hardware. (Contact Shogun Motorsports for details. Shogun frame sliders are superior to other frame slider brands by virtue of their construction and material. Shogun pucks are made of shatter-proof UHMW infused with UV protective polymer. Shogun pucks absorb kinetic energy from crashes and will not shatter in cold temperatures like some types of foreign recycled Delrin or fade in the sun. Each puck has a press fit aluminum bushing to hold it in place during impact to reduce the risk of the puck tearing off of the mounting point. Shogun uses socket head bolts in nearly every kit, allowing for stronger frame slider design in a more compact space. Newer applications of Shogun Frame Sliders make use of a counter sunk design, which distributes the force of impact over a wider area and gives additional strength to the system so that the puck remains attached to the motorcycle. Some Shogun products are available in a 3 piece kit which consist of matching frame sliders, swing arm spools and bar ends. Made in the USA.

Worked as expected on parts

I had an sv650 but I sold it and got a Ninja zx6r. The hardware really matched this bike so I installed it. Dropped the bike at 30 mph and the frame slider saved the plastic body. The stator cover received a fairly large scratch, but the frame sliders protected the bike well. The sawn off plastic, as it should be, is not broken or bent.

  • Motorcycle and Powersports
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Some useful things in the crash pads

Screwed together without any problems. If only the old ones were just as easy to remove. Definitely with either plastic or exposed sliders after I had to remove them with a hacksaw and also the old aluminum (not shogun) made a dent in my frame where it dented. They're made of ultra high molecular weight plastic (google it) which is an incredibly durable material, but I doubt they'll damage the frame considering they're plastic.

  • Body and frame parts
Cons
  • Nothing

Perfect fit for 2007 SV 650S, bike saved, bought again!

Perfect for my 2007 SV650S. I was a little confused about the slider at first, but I figured it out. This is my second set, the first set protected my bike perfectly. I parked my bike at about 35mph and only needed to fix a few things, my mirror had a slight scuff, it was polishing, my left footpeg broke, left derailleur, left bar end, left clutch and it scratched my left frame slider. grind. only cost about $150 to get it back in 99% new condition.

Good product - Motorcycles and weight training

This ad contains no description or instructions for the product. So I will do my best to include that information in this review. Please see my attached images to see what the product will look like when you receive it. They are bike specific, not universal. They will fit any 2nd generation SV650, so they will fit any 2003-2008 SV650 or SV650n without modification. Full fairing bikes require holes to be cut in the fairing on each side. The tapered gasket is actually black anodized, not the pure
