I've used several brands of cord and it's MUCH the thickest, highest quality cord I've seen. They're shielded and that could make a difference if you're having trouble with some cameras like I did. I've had a few issues and replacing my flimsy unshielded cables with these fixed them all. They are much more visible than the thin black wires, so cameras can be more visible in some areas because they have a very thick white wire going to them. That.
