Does the job if you follow the instructions

Purchased on September 3, 2021. Please note that I am a person who studies a lot when I buy something. I really delve into reviews, which I find helpful when I'm stuck in a problem-solving situation. I'm usually aware of possible downsides and know how to solve them before I buy anything. As for the issues from other reviews: I use it every day and only had to charge it once, around November 5th. Worked for 2 months without charging. So it holds a charge for a very long time. Can it drain the battery if you often look at it with the backlight on? I don't watch more than once or twice a day so I really don't know. A few days after I received it, it "died" If you look at the back of the device, you will see a tiny hole. This is the reset button. Pick up the pin and push in to reset it. Done once and never again. Many complain that this is not correct. The first problem here is that people don't read the instructions and therefore don't know there is a false start feature. If you take less than 10 steps, it will not be registered until the 11th step. Then he jumps those ten steps right before your eyes. The people who don't know about the false start feature see the jump in the number and assume it's a malfunction. I live in New York and walk my dog the same route three times a day. I know that every block or avenue is so many parts of a mile. My numbers match. I'm sure it's not perfect and could drop about 100 feet at the end of the day, but since the goal for each of us should be between 5,000 and 10,000 steps a day, I'm not worried about 100. You want perfection. The FitBit costs $99. It will tell you how much your morning chair weighs. This tells you if you are moving your body enough. End of the story. For the price, this is an exceptional choice. I forgot that I was visiting my relatives. It was cheaper when I bought it, so I just waited until I got home. What can I say? At least I know I'm cheap, right? Much luck!
