In general, I wouldn't recommend boys swimming in the sea if they have trouble aiming while sitting. but of course unnecessary if you have girls. It's very comfortable for my little one and installation was pretty easy. Cons: If you potty a boy and he doesn't aim well, his fluids will get under the seat cushion, meaning you'll have to wipe the top and bottom of the cushion and potty seat, as well as the toilet seat. Also, because the fender was very high, I found it more difficult for my son to get in and out of it, and because the handles led to the back of the potty seat, the seat rocked when he pushed forward to stand up. (This might just be from my particular closet, but is worth mentioning).
