Good product. I definitely recommend it. Also, while I've seen others say they are for chat only, you MAY get other game sounds about them as well. I am deaf in one ear. So I'm having a hard time finding a good solution for a headset. For example, if I'm just using a regular stereo headset for gaming, I'm missing out on sounds coming through another channel to my deaf ear. Maybe the game is trying to warn me that someone is sneaking up on me from the left, but I totally miss those sounds. Anyway, I've tried several of these headsets and this one is by far the best. Others were very harsh and lacked sound quality (my good hearing is 100% so I still want quality sound). They are good for a simple chat, but explosions or music are not suitable for them. This Turtle Beach device has some depth of sound. It's not audiophile quality, but it's much better than others. Now for the fact that it's not "just for chatting". What some people don't seem to know is that the PS4's settings menu lets you choose whether to send only chat or all game sounds. It's always worked that way. Just go to Settings and under Devices look for Audio Device Settings (I hope I remember correctly). It is very easy to switch as well as adjust the microphone and volume.
