Great headphones. As mentioned in other complaints, they're a little hard to hear, even at high volume. If you buy these headphones, just go to your settings on PS4, go into audio output mode and crank the headphone volume all the way up and they seem to work pretty well with that and don't pick up a lot of background noise like many other headsets for Turtle Beach .

I bought this headset because the wired headset that came with the PlayStation 4 was a piece of junk. This headset is crystal clear and very comfortable to wear. I chose this design with 1 earbud instead of 2 because I want to hear what's going on in the house (the dog needs to go outside, knocking on the door, etc.). The microphone is very flexible and you can adjust it to any angle you want. You can also turn off the microphone. I highly recommend this headset.

That's exactly what I was looking for. I am using this with my Playstation 4 which is also connected to 5.1 surround sound. I don't need headphones that prevent me from enjoying surround sound. The "shell" that fits over the ear is not closed like traditional headphones. It's more like a cage that hovers over your ear, allowing you to hear everything that's going on in the room around you. Good product. I definitely recommend it. Also, while I've seen others say they are for chat only, you MAY get other game sounds about them as well. I am deaf in one ear. So I'm having a hard time finding a good solution for a headset. For example, if I'm just using a regular stereo headset for gaming, I'm missing out on sounds coming through another channel to my deaf ear. Maybe the game is trying to warn me that someone is sneaking up on me from the left, but I totally miss those sounds…
