Review on ๐Ÿšด Enhance Outdoor Adventures with the Radio Flyer Ultimate All-Terrain Stroll 'N Trike, Red by Robert Aiono

Not bad but there are a few small issues

Reviews on this glider are a bit mixed as there are multiple options. We chose the Ultimate version, which includes a kickstand and other goodies. It takes 30-40 minutes to assemble as there are multiple parts. The instructions are better than most products of this type. As mentioned, tires leak gas and smell awful. It's like the cheap rubber weights you find in department stores. We haven't had the trike long enough to see if the smell goes away quickly or not. The frame and other components are quite heavy and appear to be well made. Some reviewers noted that the pedals do not rotate freely and hit the child's legs with each rotation. The Ultimate model we bought has a round piece of plastic molded around the front hub. You just pull it out and the pedals spin freely. Squeeze it and they are locked to the wheel. Put them in freewheel mode when you buckle up the footrest and you're done. One of the main complaints I have is a lot of play on the adult handlebars. I tried to capture it in the attached video clip. I understand that this is a child's toy and not a precision instrument, but the scope of play is really unacceptable. This makes the experience less enjoyable as you feel like you're wandering back and forth while pushing the bike. I could be happy with about half the games but not with the current design. This becomes less important as our child grows out of the adult control stage, but it really should be decided by the manufacturer. The only other issue I noticed is that the plastic fender is quite snug against the front bar, making steering a bit more difficult. too tight. I ended up taking it apart and smearing some dielectric grease on the inside of the wing where it meets the stem. This made it much smoother. Overall, this is a pretty versatile trike for the money. Most other options have plastic wheels and tires and feel a bit lighter. If it was possible to fix the adult steering play issue and if they fixed the tire gas issue I would probably give the hang glider 5 stars.
