I'll take a chance and say that I don't think you need to be a printer expert to replace printer cartridges. But having said that I've tried almost everything including turning the printer off and unplugging all the cables, removing the tape from the cartridges, cleaning the copper connectors with rubbing alcohol and then using a copper wire brush (because when they arrived, there seemed to be a matte layer of something covering the copper connectors), automatically cleaned the printer's print head several times, manually cleaned the printer's ink ports, poked the cartridges with a needle, etc. etc. etc. arrived glued, and then he got worse. It could be an Epson printer, but more evidence points to those ink cartridges. I still refuse to buy recommended standard Epson ink cartridges because they are 3 times the price, THREESOME! I am thinking of a laser printer. Epson can make someone happy at Goodwill. if they can fix the ink problem. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT
