Review on ATS Thermal Bypass 2010 2018 Cummins by Robert Helstrom

Replaced the factory bypass valve (which was sticking) with this one and saw a significant drop in transmission temp on the highway (from 225 degrees Fahrenheit to 145 degrees Fahrenheit). The temperature during movement with frequent stops also drops to about 165-175 degrees. Installation is easy if you have the right tools. You will need a 1" spanner and a 20mm or 21mm spanner to loosen the factory nuts and a 13mm socket (short and deep) to remove the line support strap. This last part makes removing and replacing the factory bypass much easier.
