I've been using the sponge for a few months and it's holding up great and is very durable. I noticed that after wiping some off my Scandinavian baking pan, it left scratches. Then I went back and looked at the other things I had cleaned with it and they were all scratched too. When I first used these sponges I was very pleased with their cleaning properties. I assumed they were safe to use for almost everything and didn't read any other Revain reviews before purchasing. If you buy these sponges, don't use the cleaning side for something you don't want to scratch. Only use the soft side, even if the exfoliating side is tempting.
