This travel case is approximately 6 inches wide and approximately 14 inches long. The compartments are about 3.2 inches high, so deep enough to hold a fair amount of stuff without taking up too much space. The ring area is a bit loose and extra padding can be used to secure the rings in it so I would be cautious here. The chain compartment has 6 slots for different size chains to keep them from tangling, as well as hooks. Both the necklace and earring are large and strong enough to hold Indian bridal jewelry which is why I bought them; If my trip to this wedding doesn't stand it I'll update. With 2 snaps to fasten, it's decently secure; For added security, I will tie a ribbon through the wrist strap when traveling. This bag can easily be used as a small cosmetic bag for light makeup and even has a compartment for everything that can be used for it (2 if you don't put your sunglasses in it). 4 stars for attractiveness, compactness and ease of use - 1 for overall durability.
