I'm using this to connect a Canon Rebel SL2 to a Weebill video transmitter. It works great. I needed this because my camera has an HCMI connector on the right side of the camera and the Z's included mini HCMI to MINI HDMI cable forced me to put the transmitter on my camera the wrong way round and it me prevented from getting along when rotating the camera along the axis. This angled botton connector allows me to use a MINI HDMI to HCMI jack and plug it into this connector and I get a lot of clearance. You need to use the size of the camera and route the cable under the lens.
