This part fits our 2013 Ford Escape SEL. I would recommend just unscrewing the 4 star screws on top of the old one and replacing the top. It's easiest to keep the new plastic fastener connected to the metal plunger and then push the top back into place. Do not use a new o-ring as the old one is probably fine. I didn't see the old one snap into place and installed the part with the new o-ring and the antifreeze ran out of the plate. If you're ready to replace the entire block, good luck. The two bolts are at a crazy angle and trying to remove and reinstall the hose clamp is a beast! Trust me I tried it first and almost gave up. The check engine light went out and everything is fine.
