Review on Reinforced Handles Heavy Duty Clearlove Utility Tote Bag With Pockets - Foldable Grocery Shopping Bags Sturdy And Durable by Kathy Babson

Great for groceries

I still use the plastic grocery bags in the store, but after getting to my vehicle transfer as much as I can to reusable bags for ease and efficiency in bringing into the house. Plus, I also shop for my elderly parents and sorting into reusable bags after leaving the store makes things easier. Anyway, this tote is longer and larger than the ones I typically use, and thus works well for transporting longer items like packaged chicken legs, cases of canned fruit, etc. I have loaded this tote to the brim with what feels like 30-45 pounds of groceries (on average), and have yet to feel like I'm overtaxing it and/or that something's going to give. I did cut a piece of cardboard (from an old box) the dimensions of the base, and keep it at the ready to stick in the bottom for additional support when I have mostly soft stuff to carry. Reduces sagging and makes it easier to carry. But I usually have enough rigid stuff (cereal boxes, tissue boxes, etc) to place on the bottom, to where it's not necessary. This tote also comes in handy when we go camping. We usually go with family and friends spread between several campsites, and try to get together at least twice for joint meals. This tote is good for transporting meal and service items between sites, and can be easily stowed until needed. This tote has a small zippered pocket inside (good for receipts or small items that could get lost), and exterior mesh pockets on each of the short ends.
