It appears to be the same as the OEM socket. Failed to start Vance & Hines muffler mount in installed bushing. I had to remove the bushing and start feeding the bracket in, then reinstall the bushing. I managed to get the bushing in place, but it was still extremely difficult to get the bracket all the way through. With the help of plenty of Windex to lubricate and some muscle work, I was able to make it the rest of the way. It shouldn't be that hard. Maybe better with an OEM mount. Wouldn't recommend this if you have a Vance & Hines bracket - too complicated for such a simple task. For this reason I gave only one star. Remove any doubts about using a standard mount, otherwise it appears to be a quality product.
