Review on ☕️ Nespresso Lattissima One: De'Longhi Espresso Maker in Shadow Black - Unleash the Ultimate Coffee Experience! by Muleme Bollinger

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A decent frothing attachment and a very basic coffee maker.

I recommend the EN500W as a great option for reliable Nespresso benefits. Keep in mind that the frother is disposable, holds 8 ounces of milk, and doesn't have a reserve tank. Overall, I think Nespresso sits at the base of a fairly steep price-taste curve for espresso and related coffee makers. . At around $250, the EN500W makes a better, more consistent shot of espresso or lungo than most chain espresso chains (in my opinion). It's Starbucks or Peet's 7 out of 10 every time. Once you understand that an 8/10 requires patience, time, cleaning and (generally but with exceptions) a $400+ maker (with cleaning, maintenance and learning curve). , and a 9/10 value requires $1000. Equipment, an obsession with certain beans and how many days have passed since they were roasted, and the 9.8/10 requires a $14,000 machine and dedicated passion, you can see the value of the Nespresso offering. I was able to consistently get about an 8.5/10 from my Rancilio Silvia ($600) plus a $200 coffee grinder. Just four shots take about ten minutes, and I have 5 minutes to clean. The $450 Gaggia Brera does 8 with a lot less time and cleaning but a lot more maintenance and effort to keep it running properly, plus a few lost shots every time you change beans or grind significantly. The EN500W gives you 7/10 consistently with minimal maintenance and is capable of frothing 8 ounces of milk for a good 7/10 cappuccino, with the understanding that the frother is a one-time thing that needs to be cleaned/rinsed after each cycle of use. He can fire four shots in about five minutes (a warm-up, one per shot).
