Review on 💁 Revamp your Style with Dear Drew by Drew Barrymore Playful Ceramic Fiber Curling Iron in Blush Pink by Pat Allen

I have completely mixed feelings about this curling iron. So the design of this is awesome. It works just like any other non-clip curling iron with one exception: the tip is made of silicone prongs between which you place the tip of the strands of hair you want to curl and they hold your hair in place without leaving a crease on the hair produce or burning of the fingertips. Silicone teeth do exactly what they were designed to do. i love the design I've read other reviews worried about teeth causing breakage, but I certainly haven't come across this, and I personally don't see much of a difference between using these teeth and simply combing your hair. What I don't like is there is no temperature control. I have fine hair (although I have a lot of it) and like to keep the temperature on the lowest possible as my hair gets frizzy to avoid causing unnecessary damage. I could forgive that, although my Qi straightener also lacks temperature control. The main reason I'm deducting two stars is because my hair doesn't hold that curl at all. I curl my hair regularly, I also curl my three daughters' hair and consider myself very knowledgeable about hair curling. This wand creates absolutely gorgeous curls when I curl my hair. I always think when I style my hair this style it works great but every time I'm done I run my fingers through the curls lightly before using hairspray and the curls fall out every time. That's ridiculously disappointing. My hair usually holds curls very well, but I just can't figure out how to make this work for my hair (or my daughter's hair). The design is fantastic, the wand itself needs some work.
