I used this glue to repair torn/split bindings on old paperback books. While some reviewers report receiving bottles of hardened glue, this wasn't an issue for me. The thin nozzle on the bottle is very useful for applying beads of glue to the narrow areas of paperback bindings. Leaving it for a few hours gave good results. I recommend covering the neck of the bottle with saran wrap after each use to slow drying, rinsing the spout with warm water to keep glue residue from building up in it, and then leaving a nail in the nozzle to keep small traces of glue from clogging it.
