I don't like getting electrocuted while vacuuming

After trying and returning the Dyson V11 Outsize I had high hopes that this vacuum would be at least remotely similar but twice as much would cost. It has some cool features like a dual brush, flexible wand, and no-hair-wrap brushroll, but unfortunately, the cons completely outweigh the pros. The trash can is small and not "touchless" at all (you still had to put your hand in the canister to fish out the trash even if it was far from full), the battery takes over 4 hours to charge (apart from (apart from the odd "cooling time" (the battery should elapse before it even starts charging, and Shark doesn't supply an extra battery so you have to wait for the device to charge), the suction power is barely noticeable unless it is because in "boost" mode and the runtime is nowhere near the advertised lengths.None of these issues in and of themselves wouldn't make me return this vacuum cleaner, but the absolute culprit for me was the fact that he constantly SHOCKED while vacuuming carpets! subtle to moderately uncomfortable shock I've tried different shoes, very gently lifting my feet etc and nothing has worked. My daughter is at the age when she wants to help with chores and there is no way I will let her use this device. Of course I'm sending the vacuum cleaner back. I was hoping to just exchange it in the hope that it was a single defective product, but after reading some reviews that also complained about the shock, it turned out to be a design flaw Shark acted. It's a shame that the search for a satisfactory cordless vacuum cleaner continues.
