It's thicker and heavier than the competition but doesn't block as much light.
The shade isn't bad, but it's porous and doesn't let much sunlight through. The material is not hardy and is a bit thicker compared to more expensive shades. Ours had an obvious defect where they filled a gap and it's in our line of sight. It's better than nothing and the price corresponds to the product, although if I had to repeat it I would spend more money for a better shade.
