In my original review below, I said I would update my review in a few months, but I'm not updating for a week. I gave it to my daughter yesterday (for Christmas). The thing is great! It doesn't take long to learn how to drive this thing. As I said above, I bought it for my daughter, but I ride it too! And my husband too. Within a minute (maximum) you will know what to do. Ease of movement (as long as the surface is smooth). Very easy and fun ride (as long as it's flat). Walking uphill (even on a small incline) is difficult, it's probably a lot harder for me than for my daughters. The scooter will go faster if you try to pull the handle towards you, bend your knees and lower your body. Making a sharp turn on this thing is VERY dangerous. I was in the park today and took a little right turn and almost got thrown by this thing and fell to the ground. My son, who will soon be 6 years old, can also drive and has no difficulties other than grabbing the brakes. It's hard for his little hand to reach out and hit the brake, but as long as he's driving on a level surface in a safe place with no one or anything around, he's fine. I recommend this scooter to everyone! Initially I aborted a start because I could not fold this scooter.
