External components EPIC

4K@60FPS, 4:4:4, DTS over fiber. I like this device. If you want to move your gear to a closet or pantry that you can use to declutter your living space, that's great. It's small enough that you can easily attach it to the back of your TV, leaving just the fiber optic and charging cable as the only indicator that something's really going on. If you like to play games it will work just fine. Finally, it looks like the device uses a single SFP+ port on both sides and comes pre-installed with an LC connector. Although I haven't actually tried it, I wouldn't be surprised if it worked on other media as well.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
