I installed a new Harbor Breeze ceiling fan in my home office and decided to add a remote control. The fan replaced the light so I only had a wall switch which was perfect for my situation. I just leave the switch on and control the light and fan with a remote from my desk. Installation was easy and straight forward, just like I did when installing the fan. I had to make sure the fan was running at maximum speed with the tension chain to ensure the fan speed matched the speed on the remote control, once I did that the unit worked perfectly. I haven't tested the timer yet, so I can't comment on its functionality, but overall it seems like a good device. I'll update my review if anything comes up, but for now I'm happy. Five stars!
