We needed a pigtail for our XM which we use on our tractor. We put the radio away when we go out so it doesn't burn out in the sun. We wore out the antenna connection by removing it and replacing the radio every day or two. It's going to be expensive. The cost of the radio plus an additional $15 activation fee.
