Same story as most here - needed a new set of rims, was tempted by the price, read the reviews and pulled the trigger. Driven 500 km and so far satisfied. My observations: - The delivery was quick. The packaging is clean. Almost everything looked fine out of the box. One wheel had abrasions on the brake pad. Not sure if it was because of the build quality, some testing time / leftover QC? Or someone used/returned? It didn't seem to be a problem, so I guess it doesn't really matter. - The wheels were pretty straight, with a slight jump in one (nothing different than what you would have after a 1km ride and not big enough to worry about.) - The Conti GP4000S II mount was very tight. I can't do it without tools, and neither can the tire fitting Jedi I ride with. Ride quality was good. I'm not the pickiest of riders, but I haven't felt much of a difference between these and my lightweight (Neugent/Neuvation) Al bike wheels. - Crosswind was recorded, but nothing special. - Braking was definitely worse when the pads were on. compared to aluminum discs and standard pads. I can play with other pads to see if I can restore performance there. For the first time my arms/arms pump up on a long descent. The included skewers are very minimalistic. I guess there's a nice weight saving, but I'm concerned about the strength/durability of a design like this. Does anyone use them? So overall I feel like I got a good deal. Super looking carbon rims for a small price.
