The original plastic (nylon?) faucet on my porcelain water cooler was almost 10 years old. It still worked fine, but at that age I worried it wouldn't make a big mess in my kitchen. The flow rate was acceptable. Not great, but acceptable. That's why I came here to Revane to find a new faucet. My first try was with another stainless steel tube sold by the same company that sells this one, but it costs about $4 more. It was a beautiful faucet and the valve worked very smoothly. My only complaint was that the flow rate was a bit slow. If you were just filling a glass or bottle of water it wouldn't be a problem. But I have a 1/2 gallon jug on my counter so I wanted something with a good flow rate to fill it up quickly. I sent the other tube back and got this one. It doesn't flow, the valve is smooth and most importantly the flow rate is exactly what I expected. I highly recommend this plug.
