Latch not deep enough. The kids figured out how to crack it.
This was the best idea I've ever had as a mom: hide chocolate chips and marshmallows in a drawer locked with a fingerprint! But my little assholes have found that if they pull out the bottom drawer, pull down on the handle and push down on the back of the drawer, they could pull it out and push into the food! The latch is not deep enough. I will also say that unless you have real wood drawers, not MDF, it was difficult to install. luck next time. I think I'll just take a traditional lock that they can't bypass.
