This dryer works great. You can adjust the heat setting and the velocity of the blower. The heat setting on high doesn’t get hot enough to burn your dogs skin, unless you left it on the same spot for a long time. I turn it down a little to do my toy poodles neck so she doesn’t get scared. I use to have one that didn’t have a heating element and the air was just about room temperature, but this warm air dries them so much faster! It takes me about 4 minutes to completely dry my toy poodle (9.5 lbs) and about 7 or 8 minutes for my Maltipoo (18.5 lbs). It seems really well built and sturdy. I’ve had mine for a few months and wash my dog about every 2 or 3 weeks. The only thing that may be n issue for some is that the power cord is kind of short, around 5’? I highly recommend this dryer!
