Review on 🍵 BELANKO 2.7 Quart Tea Kettle for Stovetops with Wood Pattern Handle, Loud Whistle, Food Grade Stainless Steel Teapot/Water Kettle - Gray by Paul Beach

I bought this kettle a month ago because of the many great reviews here. My husband drinks tea every night. That's why we regularly use the kettle. We were initially disappointed because the handle gets quite hot when the water boils, contrary to what some reviewers say. But it wasn't a deal breaker. Within a month of owning this thing the lid on the spout has started to discolour and change shape, I suspect it's melting from the heat. I doubt that the boiling point of water in my part of the Midwest is any different than anywhere else. This kettle is just cheap junk. Very upset. I just ordered a quality stainless steel and enamel kettle and threw it in the trash. Do not buy this kettle. Late 2021 Update - The company that sells this kettle have been emailing me for the past two weeks offering me money to film this review. They sent the same letter at least half a dozen times. I rarely review products. But this one was so bad that I felt obligated. I returned it at the time for a full refund and purchased a better quality product which has served us well ever since. And worrying about email won't change my mind. Maybe my purchase was defective. But I wouldn't risk it.
