I don't understand how it differs from other conditioners

I buy mouthwashes all the time because they are an important addition to my daily dental and gum care. I had previously used this rinse and everything about it suited me, but many of my acquaintances began to vying with each other to praise Listerine rinses. According to them, this is just some kind of miracle, and not an ordinary conditioner. Naturally, I wanted to try and find out if it is true that this is such a wonderful remedy. I found a whole line of Listerine rinses in the Cart supermarket on Kalinin Avenue (Rubin shopping center). Their cost, in my opinion, is a little high - about twice as expensive as the same Forest Balsam, Splat or Colgate. However, the Listerine rinse Strong teeth. Healthy gums "on that day there was a double discount - on the buyer's card and on the bonus coupon, so I got the product for only 62 rubles 80 kopecks. Thus, my budget was not affected, and I got the opportunity to test the new product. Today is exactly a week, How do I use Listerine mouthwash "Strong teeth. Healthy gums. The conditioner is packaged in a transparent plastic bottle with a volume of 250 milliliters. The packaging has a convenient ergonomic shape: in the middle it is narrower, due to this it is convenient to hold it in your hand. There is a label on the front of the bottle where you can see the basic information about the product. The manufacturer promises the destruction of bacteria, the reduction of plaque and the freshness of breath. It is also indicated that the product does not contain alcohol, and for many this is important. There is also a label on the back of the package that contains additional information about the rinse aid: method of use, action, composition, precautions, expiration date, and even instructions on how to open / close the bottle. There is also information about the manufacturer and the importer in Russia. The lid was originally tightly sealed with a film in order to protect against unauthorized opening. After removing the film, you need to press on the smooth parts of the cover and turn it counterclockwise. On the top of the lid, all these actions are drawn. The cap has two protrusions, due to which the bottle closes very tightly. You can safely take it with you on the road and not worry that the rinse aid will spill. Thus, I really liked the packaging. The only negative is that the lid is inconvenient to use as a cup - just because of the protrusions. And in general, in my opinion, it is not intended for such purposes. You have to pour the rinse aid into a separate container. Let's move on to the composition of the tool. As I noted above, the rinse does not contain alcohol and sodium fluoride. But then it has SLS - sodium lauryl sulfate. As far as I know, it is more aggressive than its counterpart laureth sulfate. Of the useful components in the rinse include eucalyptus oil, thymol and menthol. These components protect against harmful bacteria, have a pro-inflammatory effect and a refreshing effect. In general, the composition is not bad, but for me it would be better if the rinse aid contained alcohol rather than lauryl sulfate. The rinse is pale blue in color, has a pronounced mint smell, in which notes of eucalyptus are felt. The aroma is not for everyone, of course, but it suits me. But I don't really like the taste of the conditioner. It is too sharp, too astringent, too mentholous, and gives off something nasty-sweet, and this sweet aftertaste remains in the mouth for quite a long time - about an hour. Feelings are not the most pleasant, to be honest. You need to use the rinse aid twice a day. At one time, you need 20 milliliters, which is 4 teaspoons. However, 10 milliliters is quite enough for me. The rinse aid, although unpleasant in taste and has an astringent effect, does not cause burning in the mouth, does not dry and refreshes well. And it really reduces the formation of plaque. However, I don't understand why everyone praises Listerine rinses so much. In my opinion, they are no different from the means of other manufacturers. I probably won't buy Listerin again. I don't see the point in paying more. But I will still recommend the product, because it has a number of advantages: - lack of alcohol in the composition; - eucalyptus oil, thymol and menthol in the composition; - refreshes the mouth; - reduces the formation of plaque; - does not cause burning and does not dry the mouth; - convenient packing.
