For the money this is an amazing foot and nail grooming tool. It's simple - a rotating sharpening stone with a felt inner ring that captures pulverized skin or nail particles when air is passed through them. There is an outer metal cover with a simple slot for grinding nails. I found it a bit uncomfortable on my toenails but it worked like a toenail charm and wow it really took some of the old dead dry skin off my feet. The trigger is only depressed to engage - there is no way to lock the trigger in the on position. So it spins when you click on it and stops when you stop. You'll be surprised how much shredded skin comes out in just a few minutes. It worked almost perfectly. As always I will update if anything happens to reset the stars. I hope this review was helpful.
