Excellent quality, works as advertised BUT it would work even better in my application. if they contain at least pilot holes for a template 50 x 50 mm on the mounting plate. I used this to convert an Ergotron dual monitor to mount a single large (32 inch) monitor. As advertised/received this mounting plate only has 75mm and 100mm square templates which are said to fit most people but installation on my Ergotron required marking and drilling a 50 x 50mm x template for 4 M6 mounting screws. Since the Ergotron sit/stand desk is tilted, I then used 2 of the 4 plastic spacers included in the kit to prop the monitor up. Firstly, when you install the monitor in place, the latch does not click, you have to manage it yourself. I consider this a small disadvantage when I first installed the monitor, but then I came to the conclusion that this is a feature that when removing the monitor you can do 2 steps: 1. Release the latch 2 .Lift the monitor. Great value at 1/2 to 1/3 the price of an Ergotron quick release (which may also have needed a mod as they seem more interested in selling you a brand new device than a simple adapter).
