This device worked great and did what I wanted it to do. It splits the signal from my Comcast DVR. I connect an optical cable to the BOSE Soundtouch 300 soundbar and HDMI to the TV. No ARC issues or audio latency issues or anything you've read about from soundbar owner issues. The video signal comes in 4k with no handshake problems. I would rate it 4 stars as the unit has terrible provisions for all wired connections but this does not reflect the product and its intended performance and purpose.
