Our front door tends to slam in the wind when we try to bring in food. Works great and looks stylish. Like others, I had some trouble trying to disassemble a small portion of the device's magnetic button for installation. I used a rubber pad to protect the black metal coating, a couple of bench vices to hold it in place and a screwdriver inserted in the spine to unscrew it. I was about to give it up and return it thinking it must have been broken but suddenly it worked and fell apart allowing me to get to the mounting screw inside. I remember feeling a little self conscious when I finally realized that. (That was four months ago). Holds up great.
