I didn't quite understand what to expect from the description of these sunglasses. The tinting is done gradually, so the color at the bottom of the lens is lighter than at the top. The upper is dark enough to be comfortable in moderately bright sunlight. Each lens has a separate field of view on the inside of each lens, rated +1.0 on the lens sticker. There is a very slight zoom which I tried to capture in a photo of the text but the dividing line is difficult to see. They don't magnify enough to help my eyes, but possibly not enough for others. The lighter area at the bottom makes it easier to read just because it's not as dark. They are light. The hinges aren't springy, but the glass is wide enough not to pinch. The set includes a nice zip case, a small screwdriver and a microfiber cloth.
