I bought three (three!) electric pencil sharpeners of different brands from Amazon in just one week; only one worked (this one), I returned one of the others (tired of returning broken sharpeners I just gave up and kept one of these for myself (I'm on a very tight budget so the price of this one was off-putting at first until I became realized that if I just didn't pay I would probably be returning electric sharpeners before the day I died so no thanks!I'm an amateur artist so have bought many electric sharpeners over the years (most of them just go bad) and I can promise this is by far the best of them all, it even sharpens my metallic colored pencils - it's notoriously difficult to sharpen them well without breaking or crumbling the rods - but this sharpener does a great job of all my metal colored pencils (of which I regularly use several brands) to perfectly clean the tips.Not an easy task for other sharpeners who I have used, this sharpener produces so incredibly clean and sharp Tips for my pencils, regular Pentel colored pencils and drawing pencils are included. So go ahead, buy this one, you've found the right one, no need to try all the others here, I've already done it for you!
