I had problems with dry, cracked heels for a long time, especially in the summer, but after the purchase they stopped. I bought 2 pairs of these shoes almost two months ago and my feet have been completely crack free for a month. I first spent some time and effort sanding down some of the dry, calloused skin and then started using a pair of these shoes. about 5 nights a week, usually at first with some kind of magic heel stick. The results were not long in coming and after 3 weeks my legs were in top shape. I wore them under my shoes during the day but found them adequate for the night and extends the life of the product. (Less wear and tear and less need for washing). I'm only two months short of a pair, so I find them pretty economical. I rarely give five stars, but the combination of efficiency, ease of use, and low cost makes five stars for me.
