Review on 7 Inch Full HD Touch Screen Car Radio Receiver With Wireless Apple Carplay, Android Auto Mirror Link, Bluetooth FM Transmitter, AUX TF Input, Voice Control & Siri For Portable Cars by Brandon Selpasoria

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good product with excellent vendor support

I'm revising my review, as I've had time to evaluate a replacement unit.Between my initial purchase and the replacement unit I had purchased a larger unit with a 2.5k, 9 inch display, side by side picture, etc which was purported to be leagues better. It was nearly twice as much at any rate.As I had both, I did a bit of a head-to-head. I'll refer to this other unit as the "2.5k" unitThe replacement unit is excellent. The touch screen is responsive, and UI is snappy. There is no to minimal lag between tapping on the screen and the tap being registered.Bluetooth paring is much faster than the 2.5k unit. I don't need to sit there, stare at my phone and wait until the unit gets paired/connected properly. Android auto also starts up/is detected very quickly.I found the lag on the 2.5k unit to be extremely annoying.I resolved my AUX input issue, as the AUX static was not isolated to the prior unit, it was ALL AUX input devices. A line filter fixed the issue I have with all AUX input. No issues with sound, no lag, nothing cuts out.To test out the FM transmitter, I stuck the unit in another car. Again, just to give it a fair shake as that car's radio was able to seek in increments of .1.It worked perfectly fine, no cut outs. The 2.5k unit didn't experience cut outs either.Camera-wise, this unit takes more stable video. I found the 2.5k's quality to be a bit blurry.Other features? The shaded screen makes a huge difference. The 2.5k's screen isn't shielded and is very reflective. As in blindingly reflective. Don't fall for the high-resolution screen hype.it makes things tiny.really really tiny and hard to read the street names while using the GPS.Verdict? This unit wins and the 2.5k unit will be boxed up and returned to amazon. It might be nearly 2x the price but is not worth it at all.Don't get me wrong, the 2.5.k unit was still nice, but from a usability standpoint, this unit is just better.Even if it was identical in price, I would pick this one over the 2.5k.
