Doesn't seal and soaks everything in 1 minute

I would have just installed a sprinkler if I wanted that much water. I thought the replacement tips would have some caps so I could skip every other nozzle. The hose attachment leaks like crazy even when tightened with an adjustable wrench. I barley turned the water on and it soaked everything in less than a minute. Might as well just use the hose and spray everything.
