Let me start this review by saying that the quality of the product was evident even before you saw it. The box was beautiful and well made. That's the first hint. Even though I saw the photos I was still impressed with the overall look and quality. The straightener features rose gold titanium plates in a black body with an ergonomic grip. I bought this curling iron/straightener for my daughter and granddaughter. This was a mistake as my granddaughter immediately claimed her curls even though my daughter had used them once to straighten her hair. Both reported excellent results. One of the attractive points is the 360 degree power cord. This can be used all day, every day without getting tangled. It is built with so much attention to detail that I can see a professional stylist using it in the salon every day. As a parent and grandparent, I love two safety features. One of them is the locking button that keeps the block closed. The other is an automatic shut-off feature after sixty minutes. All in all I would recommend this iron.
