Great potential, dumb performance

Several hours of battery life. but it turns off when less than half of the battery is used. No problem: plug in. Oh wait, the plug is on the bottom, so it can't stand up while you're charging it, and it really needs to stand up. for long-term use. Such stupidity. Charts are advertised as bar charts. You are not. Histograms would be meaningless. It's just histograms. Unfortunately, the vertical axis auto-scaling is so bad that it's VERY hard to read. And the automatic timeline scaling is even dumber: instead of showing you the most detailed data, it compresses the data long before it needs to. In my testing environment, the formaldehyde content was always within the rounding error of 1/. 5-level TVOS. So I have a suspicion that there is only one sensor for these two values, although I'm not sure. And I haven't tested it in multiple environments that could do more to show them as disconnected. All in all, this is a good prototype device that will work if you just want to hold it in your hand for a few minutes to take measurements. So true? I can not say. They should fix those bugs and then release an updated version that's designed for both short and long-term use, with more intelligence on the timelines and less nonsense on the value axes.

Pros
  • Indoor air quality meters
Cons
  • Not sure
