Review on Wooden Laptop Stand for MacBook Air, Pro, iPad Pro, Dell XPS, Surface, Chromebook - Walnut Finish by Walter Martin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Looks good but has some limitations

Overall it does what it's supposed to and looks good. It's well made and looks like it's made of one piece. However, it is not solid wood. It is made of layers of wood like plywood, but the outermost layers have a wood finish. I bought this for my wife as I have noticed that she often works on her laptop in our kitchen as if it were a bar table. It fits our 2019 13" MacBook Air perfectly. So where are the limits? 1) It's not regulated because it's one block, but we knew that. My wife is just over 5 feet tall, so the size seems right to be right for them. I'm 5 years old. "10" is a bit too small for me. 2) The bottom lip is solid, so the laptop can't slip out. But the lip is thick and a little high. Even if there is a hole in the front that looks like it should let you open the laptop's screen, the new MacBook Air is too thin and your thumb can't open the laptop, to open you have to lift the laptop a little and then rest again.Other laptops may be ok.The latter is not a limitation but should be noted. The stand comes with 4 soft plastic adhesive circles that you place on the bottom like legs.It attaches firmly to our granite worktop .The good side is t that it definitely won't slip off even if you hit it. However, if you want to adjust or rotate something, it won't slip. You have to pick it up and move it.

Pros

Cons
