I've been using 3M VHB tape for years and I'm not worried about it and I think so , they use the same glue. If necessary, it can be easily removed with isopropyl alcohol without damaging the paintwork. Hope it doesn't fade like some of the other hard plastic ones. Good quality, crisp print and goes well with the silver/black scheme. By the way, for those interested, it may be helpful to search the internet for the US flag label. The fitting must always point to the front in the direction of travel. Therefore these emblems go backwards; So you can put one on each side of your vehicle.
