Pretty good video stabilization, better than Hero 7. Even if you shake hands on purpose, the video still turns out to be insanely smooth. You don't need a gimbal or anything like that to stabilize your recordings. I've been using it for 3 weeks now and am very impressed with how stabilized my videos are compared to my OnePlus 7 Pro with stabilization enabled, Hero 7 and iPhone 11 Pro Max with the Zhiyun 3-axis gimbal. Hero 8 stabilization is the same as in Magic!
