Purchase this grounding block to use the ESD grounding block. Added 100kΩ resistor for safety between device and building/ground and device. Comes with a sheet metal mounting screw so plastic anchors will need to be added later as ours install to drywall. This ground block forms a neat common ground. The supplier says you can't put clamps on screws, but we were able to put two clamps on one screw. We have twelve wires so we don't need it, but if we add more Static Pads we can run a ground wire to the common unit. The only problem is that the lid only slides up and down. no screw or clip to attach the cover. With our wall mounted application it can be bumped and the lid will move and it can be easily put back on unless someone steps on it and breaks it. Under the hood of a car with road vibrations, we say goodbye to the coating.
