Description of πŸ”Œ Modular Ground Terminal Block for Truck Boat Automotive – Expandable up to 12 Fuses with Protective Cover and Copper Bus Bar

1 IS GOOD, 12 ARE BETTER - Instead of piling a mess of wires on top of one single ground post(what happens when you need the bottom one?), our bus bar gives you 12 dedicated grounding locations to keep all of your wires organized. STOP SEARCHING - Looking for a clean ground in a modern car full of plastic can be a challenge. But a bus bar wired directly to the negative battery post can provide each of your accessories with a clear path back to the battery. All-IN-ONE - The modular design can be easily expanded now or later to include up to two ACCEPSPWR0031 6-Way 100A M4 fuse boxes, providing up to 12 fuse protected power terminals and 12 clean grounds in one convenient location. A SOLID CONNECTION - A durable plastic base and cover protect your wiring while a tin-plated, 100A rated copper bar provides exceptional conductivity and corrosion resistance. MORE THAN A WARRANTY - We've got you covered with an industry leading two-year warranty and one of the best customer support in the business.

Very good idea.: Spare parts

I don't install it in the car, I install it in a locker on wheels. But it's a very good idea and I'm glad someone thought of it.

Good Ground Block, the best in Fuses and Accessories

Great Ground Block to put all your locations in one place. Ground the block to the negative terminal of your battery and/or batteries and you should never have grounding problems.

Great for tidying up tangled wires

Fixing an old boat and wiring was on the back of the rig. This little outfit solved that problem very well. One star off because the case was a bit loose. Don't kick and you will be happy.

Pros
  • Fuses and Accessories
Cons
  • Disappear

Ideal for placing all ground wires inside the console

I used this in the center console box which contained all the lighting needed for the project. I routed all of the ground wires to the ground junction box and then ran a large thick wire in one spot. Now when you need to troubleshoot an accessory, the ground is in one spot instead of looking for a ground problem all over the car. It also greatly simplifies the installation of multiple additional grounding wires.

Pros
  • lighting and electrical
Cons
  • boring packaging

As advertised but don't rely on cover to stay in place

Purchase this grounding block to use the ESD grounding block. Added 100kΞ© resistor for safety between device and building/ground and device. Comes with a sheet metal mounting screw so plastic anchors will need to be added later as ours install to drywall. This ground block forms a neat common ground. The supplier says you can't put clamps on screws, but we were able to put two clamps on one screw. We have twelve wires so we don't need it, but if we add more Static Pads we can run a ground wire…
