Perfect exact replacement for the armrest/console cover latch on most 2003-2009 GMs like my 2003 GMC Envoy. Only recommend or wish someone to suggest them from less easily breakable material than the original and what these and all other replacement clasps are made of, for example light metal material, as the clasp is used VERY often almost every day. I have bought this item a few/several times to replace one in my 2003 Messenger which I have had since 10/31/2017 so in 4 years of ownership of the car and 2-3 times the latch has had to be replaced.
