Review on Lightning Braided Charger Charging Compatible by Dean Ledet

Overall this product works as advertised but I personally have had durability issues with 2 out of 3 of these. The first had 2 main problems. Worst of all, the end of the connector in my iPad broke off. If you look at the first picture, some of the metal is gone from the connector because it's still built into my iPad. I was able to remove it with very sharp tweezers but that was because I seemed to be risking my iPad but it could have been an expensive fix if done professionally. The second is typical of almost every charger I've ever owned: the coating is peeling off the end of the connector, exposing the internal wires. So far this has happened to 2 out of 3 cables. I will try to either replace them or get my money back as I ordered them 11 months ago. I will update this review depending on how good the return or replacement process is. In general though I would say they work as advertised but have some durability issues. I have a feeling metal breakage is hopefully very rare, but be aware that it can happen with these cables.
